Regular Expression - $ Matches End of Line

The dollar ($) makes sure that the regular expression pattern that precedes is at the very end of the line. Obviously, this needs to be at the end of the pattern.

Examples

END$
Lines that end with "END". It would match the following:
THE END
Could say anything provided it ends with END
END
It would not match the following:
Full stop at end stops it matching END.
ENDING
